the Mizpah? Probably not but what a story...Have a politician die, election day close, damn, he croaks. Let him win the election and then Governor can appoint a replacement. We gotta do something with him. Legend and lore says taken to the Mizpah dumped in a bathtub and covered in ice. Wow, a few shrimp and...well, you know.

Ah, I am sure the Mizpah harbors many ghosts and stories to be told. I got to stay there with my parents when I was about 6 years old. BLISTERING HEAT no air conditioning and couldn't sleep much. Kept drifting off and then dreaming of strange people and then waking up and getting the noise and smell from down below. Somethings you just always remember.

That would have been around 1959-1960...If they do get it open again I want to stay there...can you go back? I don't know but I sure want to try.
