He Might be able to transfer from drive A..

which is usually the 3.5 disk drive to a 1 or 2 GB flash drive ($10 to $25) which plugs into one of the little rectangle dohickies, probably in back of that old of a system, (don't know the name) and then transfer or copy the Files, unplug it and plug it into the new system and transfer the files over... Piece of cake.... I believe that will work...LMK...
