Interested in getting started in casino match collecting? Here is a group of 16 different covers from Tropicana in Las Vegas. Seven are front strikers, at least 30 years old. Remainder are back strikers from about 1972 on. Some differences are minor, like different phone numbers, or manufacturer's name, but lots of us like to get them all! Just for comparison, I know of 48 different Tropicana matchbooks, and there are probably some recent ones I don't have.

If you're interested in a particular Nevada casino, I could put together a similar starter collection for it. You can build a collection yourself one cover at a time, but believe me, it's a job comparing small differences in a flea market or at a chip show. There will be lots of matches at the convention next month, of course.
