I have come across this a couple of times - fortunately I have made friends on this board who have been kind enough to be for me in the past if I really want something, but I tend to figure that the chips will appear again sometime on Ebay and just wait.

That said, most Ebayers do reply but occasionally you will run into those that don't reply - I always find it strange that people won't reply to others who want to buy from them! Most will ship if you are able to contact them and just usually think that overseas is really difficult (which of course it isn't) and are happy to ship when they realise it's easy, although some people do have strange ideas as to how much they think they should charge. There is one seller who occasionally has low value UK chips but will only ship with International tracking - their choice of course, but they lose a few buyers (well, me anyway!)

Always worth asking is anyone on the board has the chips you want - I've bought and sold more on the board rather than Ebay lately and the response can be very good and with reliable and friendly buyers/sellers.
