Re: Gone the way of the swizzle stick!! sad

In reference to swizzle sticks, yes a good majority of them havbe "disappeared", but as co-founder of International Swizzle Stick Collectors Organization, www.swizzlesticks-issca.com may I say that as collective collectors, we do have access to SEVERAL - and are constantly trading, buying, selling etc, and continue to hold our biennial swizzle stick collectors convention in Las Vegas every odd numbered year.

So all in all swizzle sticks are still available - what has basically "limited them" in a good portion of clubs, restaurants, hotels, etc is the drinking and driving factor - they tended to be incriminating evidence if an individual was involved in an altercation while having swizzle sticks on their person.

Locations such as Las Vegas, continue to use swizzle sticks in abundance, but "tipplers" in las Vegas know that they have the most liberal drinking laws in the U.S., but by the same token there is ZERO tollerance for drinking and driving, so patrons use a tonm of common sense.

If anyone wishes to discuss swizzle stick in any way, shape, or form, I'm always available. Thank you...
