I highly reccommend...

...you stick with a bubble mailer if the chip is valuable. Bubble mailers have an unparalleled proven track record and I will continue to use them when warranted.

I spoke with a few different postal employees. They have assured me it is ok to plunk these corrugated cardboard stuffed envelopes in the boxes. I believe them and will be using the technique I spoke of for the many, many, many transactions I conduct with low-end chips. If not for this technique, I would be cutting back on the many low-end transactions that I conduct.
