That's still cheating. And you might want to tell Larry that he needs to broaden his comic horizons.
Batman and Superman were also in cartoons, but they were in comics first. (comics in the late 30s, serials in the 40s)
Casper was a cartoon first and then in appeared in plenty of Harvey comics. (cartoons in the 40s, comics in the late 40s)
Larry needs some enlightening.
