How did the Chipboard come to be?

I believe Greg added the board to a web site he had. I see the first post was 3/98. My first post was 5/13/98. WOW almost 10 years.

My understanding is before this chippers used the Prodigy boards. I recall after Prodigy ended we use to have chats in AOL member Chat rooms on Thurs night that Michael Knapp hosted. Some nights Michael couldn't make it and he asked me to moderate it. I still have a list of names Michael sent me dated 11/16/99. A couple are no longer with us and some others I wonder whatever happened to. We would have auctions in this chat room and they were lots of fun.

That is some of my earlier memories. Others have more and can correct anything I may be wrong on.
