with stuff, I'm sure one of you guys could come up with some robotic system that could grab a chip, place it on a scanner, flip it and scan it again. for bonus points, load it on the scanner without you needing to rotate it using a paint program .

Maybe I can talk to my nephew whos going to K-State this year to study mechanical engineering (who like building robots) into building one .

Sounds like the makings of a senior project to me .
