Just walked the Strip - STARDUST STILL THERE!

Google Maps has a new feature that lets you walk down streets, and see a street view! Evidently, they drove around with cameras taking gazillions of pics, and now you can navigate with them. Sort of like a "slice of time", you never know what you'll see - perhaps somebody you know going into an Adult Bookstore, or somebody exercising naked in the window - anything you might see walking a street, you might see on Google Maps street view...

This may test your computer's modernity, and/or your internet connection - but it's pretty cool. Be prepared to download Adobe Acrobat 9 when prompted, and you'll have to accept Active X for your session to work. If you have a robust security on your computer, you may have to adjust or turn off some things. Just go to Google Maps, search Las Vegas or any of the list of cities they photographed, and then click Street Views at the upper left. A blue grid will show blocks where the feature will work, and then you have to drag the little Street Views man to where you want to walk(it's not where you put the man, it's the little X underneath him that counts). Check it out!!!
