I ran into quad 4's twice the other night and both times I had a full house!!!! C'mon...on the net, yes...but in a live game?....grrrr.Apparently I handled the beats quite well even though I was thoroughly disgusted,and one player whom I had never met before, noticed my card cover which was the Nefertiti chip from the Luxor in an air tite and told me that he had some chips from when he travelled to Europe.I told him that I collected chips and he told me that if I wanted them I could have them.
I thought.....hmmmm...I wonder??... as this has happened before and people just don't follow through,but...next night at another game I came across him again and sure enough,he handed me a bag with a few chips in it,and it kinda made my night.
Nothing that I collect of course,but I thought that it was a very nice gesture and I thanked him profusely.He told me that he saw my beats and the way I handled myself(I WAS STEAMING ON THE INSIDE...LOL),and thought that this would ease the pain.Here are a few of them.Nothing great but a nice gesture
