He has his games 3 times a week. I was unable to go on the weekend. I think the games were on Thurs-Sat nights. They are scheduled to start at 9 pm. The Thursday night I could go, they started about 10:30, and only because I bugged the waitress to keep telling the guy to start (he was there at about 9:30). We started the one hold 'em game and we have the table filled within three minutes. Not sure what he was waiting for. Then, I had to get chips under the watch of the guy that owned them. I couldn't get a ton. I told him at the end that I was keeping a couple as souvenirs. He was oK with that, but not sure how many he would have let me walk away with.

I had a fun time, though. It was a CRAZY no fold 'em, raise on any two cards and re-raise on most cards kind of game. Very had to win. I lost a flopped straight to a guy who had middle pair, which turned to two pair and then to a full house on the river. He kept betting and I kept raising (until the river, when I just knew I was beat, but had to call to see). Still, the people were a lot of fun.
