Someone asked a few weeks ago if there were nicer rooms at Riveria, Las Vegas with views. I was able to check out a suite in Monte Carlo Tower last week. Very nice, two rooms with small balcony. View of swimming pool on one side of tower, busy construction workers on the other side [g].

This was on level 21. There are floors above that probably have even nicer suites. This was a comp, so I don't know what rack rate would be.

If you can arrange to get a higher level players' card at Riviera, there are some very attractive cash-back arrangements. Triple points at platinum. A couple of the VP machines have been very friendly the last couple of trips [g]. There are also generous free-play offers sent in the mail after you've played a while.
