If your cable system offers the National Geographic Channel, I would recommend checking out a program called "Vegas Mafia" that aired from 6-7 tonight in the East. It's being repeated May 22 and June 13.

There is a lot of old footage of downtown and the Strip, including some very early shots of the Flamingo. There also are interviews with Bob Maheu and Lefty Rosenthal and several shots of Tony Spilotro, with his good buddy Oscar Goodman accompanying him. They go into pretty deep detail about the longtime skim at the Stardust. Good stuff.
