There is a lot more to Gorden's story than his poker playing.
Gorden was my friend, in fact he "GAVE" me a 46' Bugsy Flamingo chip, knowing I already had one.

That aside he managed to pi*s of a lot of chip collectors. He made the first Glass Crutch find. The story he and Jerry Wall told about it was very scarry as several drug dealers had the chips. Story for another day.

He was a fairly wealthy man but gave most of it away in order to marry Olivia. It just did not set right with his current wife and daughter.
He had a very large safety deposit box right next to mine. I would drool every time he opened it.

BTW, I bet most don't know he was once prosecuted in TN for murder. He was deeply involved with horse racing and breeding. I guess he pissed off another horse fan.
