it certain that there will be a 2007 issue. I've had many discussions with cage management personnel on this and they never seem to know when its going to happen.

One day they show up for work and there is a delivery of new chips from Paul-Son (GPI) waiting to be processed.

For 2007, they are now under a completely new management structure and it won't surprise me if they start (or actually continue) to release Limited Edition chips. Not necessarilly for the $1 chip, but there is a new presence there that favors LE's in general.
