The movie "Casino" was based on Nicholas Pileggi's book of the same name. The character played by Robert Deniro was based on Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal, who operated out of the Stardust. (But that's not the Stardust shown in the pictures on the page Von directed you to--it's the Landmark where I think some of the outside scenes were filmed) I think some of Casino may have been filmed at the Riviera, but I'm sure others can fill in the blanks more accurately than I can.
