Re: Here what I was told

The first class mail of one of our bubble wrap packages has to remain as flat as it can, so it can through the machine. That will cost $.80. NOw mind you some PO workers may charge you $1.15 because they think it wont go through the machine. If you take the chance and mail it, postage due may happen for the person on the other end. I'm going to take my packages to the PO for the first week or so and see what happens and how I get charged and not have the other person receving it get a postage due.

I was told the package has to be as flat as it can be. Under 1/8 of an inch. For those who send confirmation delivery the cost will go way up as it has to be thicker then 1/8 of an inch. So it will cost $1.15 for the package and then the confirmation charge.

I can see alot of postage dues coming to people, depending on how all the PO workers think what that package really costs.

I had to pick up a package with one chip in it at the PO and asked what he thought this would cost me after May 14th. He said this one was hard to tell. It could be $.80 or $1.15. He just restated again the thickness is the important part and the weight of under one ounce.

Just be prepared. The PO people are confused too.
