Thanks for the interest in the Princess Cruise Line chips. It is 10:25 p.m. Texas time and we are waiting for a driver to pick us up for transportation to the Dallas airport for a late night flight. We are going on the Star Princess out of Fort Lauderdale transatlantic to Europe and Scandinavia. We will be gone for about 18-days but I will have internet service aboard the ship. The Star is a relatively new ship and I can get those chips for sure. I am hoping to find others since the Star previously sailed in Alaska and the Caribbean.
Does everyone collect scans or the real chips?
The duplicate chips I have are from the Grand Princess, Sapphire, Sea, Diamond, Island, Caribbean, and some older chips. I have mostly $1 chips but several inaugural and regular $5 chips. The $2.50 chips are hard to find. In my collection I have the Emerald, Diamond and Caribbean ships -- all relatively new ships. I only have a Diamond Princess $2.50 duplicate.
Also, there has been a guy selling Emerald Princess chips on EBAY. The ship just finished it maiden voyage this past weekend. I was able to get all the ones I needed except the inaugural because that ceremony was postponed because of the sinking of the Greek ship in respect to those who lost their lives. The inaugural chip should be out in late July.
If you send my any email while I am on the ship, just copy it to ajgdmk@yahoo.com and I can check it there easier. However, send two copies.
