I would suggest coating them with nail polish remover, GOO GONE, any chemical you can find in your house that ends in "ene", Sodium bicarbonate, and just a tad of vinegar. Let sit over night and then gently wipe dry.

If glue still persists, I have another method but it requires a mask and rubber gloves.
