for sale Illegals etc for sale

See earlier posting to see why I am selling chips. These are illegals and unknowns (as well as a Washington card room chip.

The MACs are from an illegal casino on first street in Peoria Illinois. Chips were ordered in 1940s. Peoria was a hotbed of illegal activity in the 30s and 40s (apparently a popular convention site). There are 3 of them, the Blue chips also have a denom of $5 on the reverse. The red chip has MAC on both sides. I have more than what I'm includig here, but I am going to continue holding them for trades etc.

The Peak & Boharts are also Illinois Illegals. This is a nice, but fairly common chip (I know I am supposed to tell you it is rare and obsolete, ad may make you better looking-but it isn't rare, techically it is obsolete-as far as anybody knows, so keep it zipped-and as for better looking, look at me). I have extra so I can trade these incredible chips grin also.

The ERW chip with the cancellation has a checkered history, and others are far more knowledgeable on it. I have been told that they were ordered and returned, they could have been used and cancelled to avoid being used after a sell, and that they were in Indiana. I canot verify this, but the various points make it an interesting chip to me.

The RS chip is an unknown (but has some age). All of the above were obtained at the same time at a auction near Peoria.

Thge final chip is from Timmon's Landing in Washingto State. The book on Wash chips lists a $1 that is similar in style to this $5 chip. There was a subsequent set of chips used at the card room. The quality on these is poor, but I have some left.

The scan is from my buddy Ron, there are 4 sets available- I am asking $45 per set delivered within US. Please email me if interested.
