Might be bunch of Kentucky Illegals. grin
In Response To: Inlaid Chip Question? ()

One of the Old Kentucky Boys told me the inlaid crescent and stars were used as roulettes at some of the clubs. They're off-the-shelf chips listed in my copy of the 1901 Kernan Mfg Co catalog as being Harris checks available in red, white, blue, brown, yellow, and lavender, but also in other colors to order. Looks like you've got a few colors to order, as well. 1901 price was $4.00 per 100, or if you bought in large quantities was $40.00 per thousand. Not much of a volume discount.
