Iinteresting Don & Good Catch Jim!

I hadn't noticed but Jim's observation about the setup on the numbers is correct.

Coat check or parking check is interesting. Fitzgerald apparently didn't destroy anything while he was running the store so I'm sure he had plenty of these CC chips on hand. Hoard responsibly, right Mark? I ran across Doug Saito's thoughts on the serialized $500 small crown Nevada Club chips (TCR# N5267) which bolster the check chip idea. I haven't been able as yet to compare number styles etc. between the old dollar chips and the $500's. The $500 chips may have been used as high roller markers with the numbers (01-99) entered into a ledger to keep track of the gambler's line of credit. So why not use the old CC chips for something similar. Which begs the question, where are the rest of these guys? vbg
