Hi Chris, the Trocadero was a room in the El Cortez Hotel in Reno from 1941 to 1950.

About 10 years ago, two chip dealer-collectors, Armin Pfaender and Mel Jung had a chip show in Reno. Mel was associated with Reliable Engraving, who made brass core chips at that time. Mel & Armin had some $2 & $5 brass core souvenir chips made to commemorate their show. The chips were never made for gaming nor were they connected with a casino.
