I see nothing wrong with this type mailing ...
In Response To: I Got Five Today ()

People frequently ask me who am I voting for as election time approaches. Some club members, especially newer ones, don't know the individuals who are seeking office and often ask for my advice. While I did not take part in the postcard campaign ... I probably would have, had I been asked.

Distributing campaign materials is nothing new. We saw political buttons made in past campaigns with O'Neal and Sarles. We saw wooden nickels and personal chips distributed at conventions prior to elections in the past. We've even seen "Slab Free" buttons in evidence at past conventions making their political statement. I find it lucidrous that anyone would object to someone sending out non-controversial campaign materials at their own expense? At least it shows interest in the positions they are seeking.

Don't agree with the contents of the mailing? The solution is very simple. Throw it in the garbage!
