I only use that term as it applies to the board or the club. You may have been collecting for years (I began when I was a teenager in high school) but was in my 30s when I joined up (and was a newbie).

There are folks here who still think of me and my ilk as newbies. Then again I suspect a few of them tried to harvest chips when the Casino at Monte Carlo first opened its doors. I wonder if anybody grabbed the original dice the Romans used back in 33?
