NCR The Ortiz Carity tournament.

I made a post Thursday about the Ortiz Charity tournament. I decided not to try for any autographs on chips. It was an enjoyable tournament while I lasted. There were re-buys and my table must have had twenty re-buys which made things dangerous to your stack until the re-buy period ended. My big gripe with the re-buys was the pro ball players got their re-buys for FREE, I guess The Fort wanted to keep them around as long as possible. Rich Aurilla and Jason Christiansen were at my table. Aurilla wanted to leave and go to dinner with his wife, but they keep re-buying for him. He was also drinking beer and had to take a couple unscheduled comfort breaks. I did not see Barry Bonds around so there was no rematch with Christiansen sad. Some other players in my corner of the tournament area were Shawn Estes, Todd Green, Johnny Estada, and Tony Phillps who is one the most hipper people I have ever encountered. The tournament raised over $20,000 for the charity. Second place paid $5,000+. There was also a raffle for bat signned by all the players in the tournament and a ball signned by Barry Bonds. When Aurilla heard about the ball he said "Barry signed a BALL????!!!!"
