Hi Matt, does the blue chip w/ yellow inserts have "VIRG'S RECREATION" stamped on it? The word recreation was used in the first half of the 20th century to denote a kind of social club. Lots of them had gambling, but nothing really organized.

If you search eBay and the Internet you will find thousands of small metal tokens stamped with the word recreation. Some were slot machine tokens, some were so-called drink tokens.

For some reason when I saw that chip it made me think of the Pacific Northwest. Maybe I saw a reference in a mail bid sale somewhere. Try Steve Goodrich, he may know.
