Here's another that was in the lot I got to acquire a casino match. The one I posted a couple of days ago turned out to be casino related but I didn't know it. This one probably isn't, unless there were Iowa casinos in the 1940's.

In addition to being a great Lion Feature match, this one also has a Pop-Up feature... the little cardboard flap inside the front cover. When it was new, it would spring down when you opened the match; it's kind of limp now. Note the 2-digit phone on the saddle of the cover.

We were farming in Missouri in those days and grew hybrid corn but I never heard of Hagies.
