All of the chips I've seen in the responses have been called "Colony Club" (instead of Colony), didn't have a denomination, and all had different molds, with my Colony being ZigZag. It just doesn't seem to me that this is related to the chips quoted, nor to anything in Ed Hertel's catalog.

I appreciate your considering this, but I still can't say I have a clue where this is from because, as Gene said, there were hundreds of Colony Clubs.

Until some point when there is a good positive attribution, this is going in my "Unknown Box", along with a few "I thought they were known but they weren't really" chips. At some point in my life I'd like to have the knowledge to perform primary research. I also looked in the Chain Mold records at the illegal chip database through the CCGTCC web site and didn't find this chip.
