Harrah's Marina in Atlantic City has closed its Fantacy Reef Buffet. Open now is The Waterfont Buffet. It is 10 times better than Harrah's buffet in Las Vegas & is at least equal to the Rio.

If you know Ann & I we love a good buffet.We had a very enjoyable dinner At a very crowded Tuesday & followed with a lunch the next day. The lunch was just as good. The seating was handled very fast. Inside at the serving you did not wait. The tables had ample space to walk, not like the old Fantacy reef.

I started dinner with a very good chicken noodle soup. Ann had roasted eggplant soup. the other choices were New England Clam chowder,which I had for lunch, and cream of Potato with bacon.

The salad bar was equal to most with a slight twist. You could make your own or have the Chef do it to your order. See brochure in next post. They also had shrimp salad,mushroom salad,& giadinero salad. For those who like Sushi, they have a very freshly made sushi bar.

I call it entree heaven. Starts out with cooked to order sirloin steak. Large portions & very tender & tasty. selections include chicken legs roasted on skewer,roast pork,prime rib, & fried chicken.

The baked potato had a fixings bar which included steamed broccoli,chopped bacon,chopped scallions,whipped butter,shredded cheddar,& sour cream. If your name is John you could have mashed potatoes. Other selections were Portuguese Stew, Brussel sprouts,pappardellee with white clam sauce,ravioli ala vodka,baked ziti,pork osso bucco ( which I truely enjoyed), & Pesce Puttanesca.

Seafood items included you peel shrimp,crab in shell,& portuguese green clams. hot seafood included Grilled Salmon, & breaded scallops, & 7 other selections.

If you have room there are plenty of deserts. Watch the crepes being made. fill one with bananas foster, or cherries jubilee, or orange suzete. I liked the blueberry crumb tart served hot. Finish that dinner with a homemade Gelato. It comes in 7 flavors. Next time your in Atlantic City go home with a few more pounds, but happy.
