Benefit from eBay's Success

eBay's subsidiary PayPal is very profitable for the company. If you are a regular buyer/seller on the eBay web site, you can benefit from the high interest rate paid on your balance in a PayPal account. It's a money-market account, similar to those used by your stock broker to pay you interest on your uninvested funds.

All you have to do is fund your account with a deposit and use these funds to pay for your purchases. Your sales go back into the moneymarket account and pay interest at one of the highest rates around these days, 5.02%. Funds are immediately available for PayPal payments or can be electronically transferred to/from your regular bank account without charge.

Note that you don't have to be an eBay user to take advantage of this deposit account. Just open a PayPal account and fund it.

7 day average yield as of 1/3/2007. Yield varies over time. Money market funds are neither insured nor guaranteed by the FDIC or any other government agency. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 USD per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Fund. Learn more about the Fund in the prospectus. The PayPal Money Market Fund is designed primarily as an automatic sweep investment for uninvested cash balances in PayPal customer accounts. Distributed by Funds Distributor, Inc. PayPal is not affiliated with Funds Distributor, Inc. or with Barclays Global Investors.
