What is a chip mate?

The connotation is similar to "ship mate","soul mate" "class mate" or classmate. Get the idea just make up the chip and the mate as one word - then assign a new meaning you want it to convey.

My "chip mate" is anybody whom I have traded chips with. The relationship we enter between us as traders are symbolized by the chip which binds us as chip mate. The smooth interpersonal relationship is as lasting as the chips themselves in your collection.

I cannot describe it - you got to trade chips to feel the experience go out and trade your chips then you will know and feel what I am talking about.
