I have a $25.00 dollar green chip which also had the hot stmap rmeoved (may have bought it form the same dealer). The hot stamp "No Cash Value" was removed but you can see the words still in the face of the chip in the right light and tilted to catch the hot stmap image.

Frankly, I don't consider mine to be a repaired chip. I consider it to be cancelled. I didn't care about the cancellation mark, and consider it to be an added compoenent of the history of the chip.

However, I would like to know whether more knowledgeable members consider this chip to be repaired or not. So good quesiton.
