Banknote of the Day (NCR)

Today’s Banknote of the day is another Scottish note…

The Royal Bank of Scotland 5 Pound banknote is noteworthy, portraying a living person. The only other person so honored was the Queen Mother. The note has the Golden Bear logo on the front, with a special serial number prefix (His initials). The note is dated July 14, 2005, the date of Jack's final British Open.

On the back of the Royal Bank note, a portrait of Jack Nicklaus holding a British Open trophy, another showing the gallery and Jack driving from the tee. There's a picture of the Club House, and the hole-by-hole detail of each of the holes, and some more Golden Bears. Very tasteful and sure to bring a smile to any golfer. This note is in UnCirculated condition and carries a book value of $24.00 ENJOY!
