Admission is $20 through the week and $40 on the weekends.
The $20 admission charge gets you in to the Playboy Club on weekdays. The $40 charge on the weekend covers BOTH Playboy and MOON the new nightclub with the retractable roof.
Moon is located one floor up from the Playboy Club and is connected via escalators (reminiscent of the AC Playboy/Atlantis and the escalators there).
My parents were in town last week and dad mentioned that he wanted to see the Playboy Club. I called a Palms slot host for the first time in my life. I mentioned to her that I also happened to work at the Palms......would it be possible for her to walk us up for a brief look around?
Even under those circumstances the lady at the cash register rang up a $60 charge. The slot host comped it, but still, it was all on the books.
Since then I have talked to several people who say that they have never paid simply by showing a business card from a casino. I don't know anything about the accounting involved in those instances.
In any case the view from up there is (almost) worth the price of admission. Take a few minutes to watch the wall of Playboy covers/pictures that changes every few seconds. It's like a walk down memory lane.
Of course the bunnies warrant a look/stare and the view of the Las Vegas Valley from up there is amazing......
All I can speak of is last Thursday, but the 21 tables had a $25 minumum, not $100 as others have mentioned.
Also unless you are playing at a table there is no were to sit down. All of the seating/tables had reserved signs on them even though there may have been only 20 people in the joint. If you want to have a seat, reserve a table and buy a bottle or two.....
Expensive seats.
