An elusive chip and a couple more for good measure

Like Von, I managed to get a chip I have been really focused on for some time. I was hoping to get all of the Aruba fractionals. There aren't that many, and it looked like a reasonable goal (lol). Unfortunately, a number of them are very hard to find. Other than an Americana and an Aruba Caribbean chip (which look basically the same), they never show up on ebay. So, I was really excited to get the Copa Cabana 25 center below (yes, it says Hyatt Regency, but, strangely, that is the name of the hotel, not the casino), which I had seen many times on Fran's site. It may not look like much, but it's pretty scarce.

But my good fortune didn't end there. The trade also included two hard to find, even if not super expensive chips. I love the look of the roulette chip. It is from an issue from the earliest days of casino gaming in the Caribbean. I believe it's from the late 1950's:

The last chip is an early Casablanca chip. I show both sides below. Kind of a chip and an advertisement at the same time. I really don't know if these were the early house chips, or served some other purpose. Anyone know?

It's been a great chipping week for me. The Americana below didn't come in too long before that, too!

This is what chipping is all about! vbg What do you think, Brian??? vbg
