High Yield Checking/Savings Accounts
In Response To: Building Fund Answer ()

There are quite a number of banks offering hight yield accounts these days, including several that yield more than the 4.4% mentioned here. It's important to verify that they are FDIC insured, but most are.

I use Capital One and have been happy with their service and 4.8% yield, but others go as high as 5.35%.
