Microsoft has redefined bloatware with this product. No doubt it is going to be a huge release and has some pretty nice features (drive imaging, visual 3d folders, thumbnails of explorer tabs, etc) but the 512mg minimum RAM with a recommended 1 gig of RAM with a RAM heavy graphics card is going to be a deal killer for a lot of legacy PCs and workstations.

Like many folks, I have pre-ordered the release to install on a single machine to take a look at it. Whether or not it gets deployed across the network remains to be seen .. Linux if going on the storage servier...
