THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHEYENNE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

WIDESPREAD SNOW WILL BEGIN SATURDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. TOTAL STORM
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS BY SUNDAY EVENING MAY REACH 6 TO 12 INCHES ACROSS
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH 12 TO 22 INCHES ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS.
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR ON SOUTHWEST FACING SLOPES AND
AT THE HIGHER PEAKS.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
