Beware of eBay 2nd Chance Offers

I received 3 second chance offers for a $5 Bugsy chip today. They appeared to be thru Ebay, but were in fact sent directly from an indivisual. The offer appeared so real I may even have fell for it with one huge exception. We all know who the original seller was (A well known poster on this board) and this person offering the chip claimed to be him.

I played along and asked for a Paypal account or mailing address and got a long explanation of how he is currently in the UK for his daughters wedding and the chip is in a clearing house. Once I provided all my information, they would mail me the shipping info.

I guess the next step is to contact Ebay. Does anyone think they will actually do anything since I dont even have this guys real name and only an email address?

Any ideas from the board???????

Thanks,
Doug
