NCR, BankNote of the Day.....

With news of Castro’s ill health and possible demise, tonight’s selection comes from Cuba with Fidel Castro’s picture on it.

The Republic of Cuba is situated at the northern edge of the Caribbean Sea about 90 miles off the coast of Florida. \Status: UN Country\Religion: Catholic\Lang: Spanish

The note is a 1967 issue of 1 Cuban Peso printed by STC-P and features (Front) Protrait Jose' Marti at center (Back) Fidel Castro with rebel soldiers entering Havana in 1959 at center. This note is in Uncirculated condition and carries a $3.50 value. Since this is NOT a convertible note, meaning it can ONLY be used with in Cuba there is no exchange rate with this note. 1 Cuban Peso = 100 Centavos ENJOY!
