A less common northern Nevada CIC

Gold Ranch is a small casino on the Nevada-California border about 10 miles west of Reno. It used to have two blackjack tables, but they were used sporadically.

I would stop in occasionally on the way to Reno or the north shore of Lake Tahoe, play a little blackjack and sometimes pocket a $5 chip or two. I took a $25 chip - the one pictured - with me only once. The next time I was there, the blackjack tables were gone, and to my knowledge they haven't returned.

I wish I had had the foresight to pick up a few more, because I can't believe too many of these left the casino. But I'm glad I had the foresight to pick up one. grin
