I love this Daytona Kennel Club postcard because my dad took me here several times as a kid and we continued to go here till he got sick. The place looks the same now as in the postcard(just more worn down ). When i go there to play poker and want to take a break, i usually stand right where the fence starts to curve to the right in the picture. From what i unerstand, the track will be closing soon. The property was purchaced for parking for the NASCAR track next door. They are supposed to open a new facility close by in the future. The track was opened in 1948.

whats special about the Derby Lane postcard is that yesterday in the mail i just got the last chip from there to complete the collection(not including tournament chips).The track was opened in 1925. Chips shown below ...
