You're correct in that they won't sell them from the cage. The cage does have them, though, in racks! They just won't sell them. We saw them tonight just sitting there.

When the Fremont refused to sell their 50th Anniversary Chips a few months ago, I met with the Senior Vice President of Operations, Downtown Region, Boyd Gaming. While he listened to me and my arguments about making the chips available to collectors, he refused to budge on his release policy. I've written about our conversation in my upcoming quarterly article in the Casino Chip & Token News.
