Stu, I think you are missing what really happened in yesterdays election. This was not people rushing to the polls to embrace the democrats. People voted to reject the direction the republicans have taken us.

IMO, the President would have been much better off early on by keeping Powell and getting rid of Rumsfeld. Anyway, it is what it is and only time will tell.

I hope the Dems win the Senate as well.
