....The lady in the pic is Kay Salkin and the year is 1949 and in Carson City. That is the year the Ship Bar opened. I suppose we could ask Kay. She's in her mid 90's and lives in Oregon now. She was a very good friend of the bar's owner Ed Rinckel. The bar closed in the early 60's and does not exist today.

The front was originally on the Ship & Bottle in Reno...
