Joe...I don't understand the corelation between

your "personal work record" and the qualifications and/or capabilities necessary to complete the duties of an office to which you might be elected. If you think that you can do the job to the benefit of the ccgtcc and its members, PLEASE RUN!!

If you want to hand-out a free guest pass, that's great, but maybe to those people that volunteered at the previous convention. But if my memory serves me correct, I got last year's registration paid for by volunteering the year before. Maybe putting a clip-out ad in the magazines that are the hotels (similar to that AWESOME ad that Len ran this year) would be a way to increase exposure to new potential members, but it would affect the "take" for temporary memberships.

With regards to the voting at the convention idea...attendance is growing for some of the seminars, but how mant people would attend a "meet & greet" with potential candidates? And if the candidates are running for re-election, how much of their time would be available for something like this. It seems to me that their main concern at that time is that the convention is a success and that the business of the ccgtcc is attended to.

Joe...I hope that you run for office. I believe that it is important to have new perspectives. And keep making suggestions, although, as you've heard many times before, these should be addressed on the ccgtcc BB.

Best of luck to you. Steve Bedo
