At least he used some bubble wrap vbg

At least that seller tried to use some bubble wrap. I once won an auction for some Dragon chips I had been looking for from a long time member and regular chip seller on eBay. He was fairly reasonable on the shipping charge but made up for it by charging insurance and then not buying any insurance. And of course I had to pay CA sales tax since I live in the same state. I figured all the costs in and was OK with it.. I really wanted those chips. When the package showed up it was a legal size envelope with the 3 chips taped down with shipping tape onto a piece of paper telling me to make sure and check out his other auctions. When I removed the tape it left a print of the chipco chips on the tape where the ink had bled. I have not bid on any of his auctions since. I have noticed that he changed the wording in his ads to say he self insures now. I guess I wasn't the only one to feel ripped when he charged USPS insurance rates and then didn't purchase any 3rd party insurance. As a long time chip seller he certainly should have known the proper way to ship chips. It is really a shame, because he often has chips up for auction that I would bid on if it had not been for that bad first experience. Well, if you ever buy a chip from me it comes in a brand new bubble mailer and the chips are packed inside of little coin envelopes inside.. and all this for only $1 combined shipping.
