A newbie token collector asked me why there is a Landmark $1 token dated 1967, when the Landmark didn't open until 1969. I thought it was an odd question. But then did a little web research.
Several of the sites have the opening as July 1969.
The Gaming Table lists the opening as 1967.
Does anyone know the actual opening date?
If it did open in 1969, why the 1967 dated token?
(Maybe the casino opened, but not the hotel, or it was supposed to open in 1967...?)
Any help would be appreciated
